Tenderize boiled ribs or stew meat. Just add tablespoon of white distilled vinegar while boiling and you have extra tender boiled ribs or stew meat.

Need a scouring cleanser? Mix 1/4 cup baking soda with 1 tablespoon of liquid detergent. Slowly add white distilled vinegar until you get a creamy mixture.

Clean plastic storage containers. Stained and smelly plastic containers can be cleaned by wiping with a cloth that has been dampened with white distilled vinegar.

Soap build up on faucets. Wipe those faucets down with a combination of 1 part salt and 4 parts white disilled vinegar.

Pet accidents. After blotting the area, add a solution of water and white distilled vinegar and blot again. Sprinkle baking soda over the area until dry. Let sit as long as possible before you vacuum.
