High Fructose Corn Syrup is NOT safe
The Corn Refiners Association would like you to believe the High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) is perfectly fine. A new study has found that nearly half of all samples tested contained Mercury. Mercury is not good for you in any amount! Once you add up all that HFCS you consume, that relates to a lot of Mercury!
HFCS is used in many different items from bread, cereals, and lunchmeats to soups and condiments. It is the cheapest and easiest way for manufacturers to sweeten their foods. Some of the items that were detected to contain mercury include: Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup, Market Pantry Grape Jelly, Frosted Blueberry Poptarts, Hunt’s Tomato Ketchup and Yoplait Strawberry Yogurt.
