Wednesday is Earth Day. What are you going to do to celebrate?

Last month for Earth Hour we were sort of unable to participate since we were returning home from a soccer tournament. We stopped at Ted’s Montana Grill for dinner and were delighted when they announced that they would be participating and dimming unnecessary lighting.

I’ve decided we will not let Earth Day pass without doing something. Well, we have soccer practice that evening! I suppose we’ll be out and enjoying our Earth for a few hours. I’m on the hunt for more that we can do as a family and as an educational moment for the kids.

I stumbled upon the EarthDay.gov website. This site is full of ideas that you can do at home, at work, in the classroom, even things for which you can volunteer. I think I’ll spend the day browsing and coming up with a plan.
